Loop Shank
Circa: 1830 - 1840
BM: Pattern
Jacksonians are small gilt brass waistcoat buttons worn in the 1830's and 40's. Most are characterized by a separate rim added to a one piece body. Named Jacksonian because of their popularity during Andrew Jackson's term of office. They are very scarce. This is a standing stag. Backmark: Rich Colour.
